I caught one of these helping himself to a bag of potting mix out on my balcony a few days ago. I tried to get it of him but he wasn't gonna give it up and I didn't want to get bitten so .... I removed the bag later when I saw he was distracted with something else.
this obviously required some explanation! there's bits of a bub sticking out of the pouch (corina, it's a possum). a neighbour found this lady in the beams near the front door when she came over recently - sometimes they seem to get caught out and stranded there during the day.
the next night she came and had the most hilarious time in the birdfeeder, swinging it more and more wildly as she went around in circles until we wondered if she might throw herself out...still makes me laugh to think of.
lee lee, was your actually eating the potting mix?
is he back?! I thought of him about two days ago!!
